The Devil and COS never sleep. So we can’t either!
And remember that you can copy the addresses in the blocks of 20-30 or so which Judi sets up, and paste them in your bcc line - it takes seconds to do!

Subject: URGENT BLAST ALERT – Michigan HJRV (one more time!)
We blasted Michigan on 9/14 and since heard that they were putting HJRV (COS) on hold for the rest of the year.
But COS has been lobbying hard behind the scenes to reverse their decision and hopes to have a vote on HJRV (COS) on Wednesday 9/27 – and it’s on the House calendar!
So, here’s the deal: we need 8 Republicans to join the Democrats (hopefully all the Dems) to vote NO on HJRV in the event it isn’t withdrawn at the last minute.
Thirty-two representatives (28 Republicans and 4 Democrats) told a national gun rights group in a survey that they OPPOSED an Article V Convention (most likely because they could lose their gun rights). However, it appears that COS has now convinced most of these legislators that their gun rights aren’t in jeopardy because they would be voting for a “convention of states,” not a “constitutional convention”!
So, I’ve attached a relevant handout. And here is Publius’s latest article on Why State (Legislatures) Can’t Prevent a Runaway Convention.
Please write to all 109 Michigan Representatives.
The first list is the 32 Reps’ addresses who responded to the survey saying they were against an AVC- most of whom need to be re-taught that an Article V Convention is no different than a constitutional convention and will jeopardize their gun rights. If you have time for calls, some of their phone numbers are below too. Legislators don’t like controversy—they need to hear from us—they are hearing 10 to 1 from COS.
I’ve separated the rest (scroll)- 77 Representatives — into Democrats and Republicans – Please write them as well, and ask them all to vote NO on HJRV — that a convention can’t be limited.
Here are the 32 Representatives who said they were against an Article V Convention in the survey: (The Democrats are Chirkun, Phelps, Sneller, and Dianda)
Here are phone numbers for most of the above Republicans, if you have time to call some:
