Memorial Day Tribute to Vietnam Era (Part 1)

Memorial Day Tribute to Vietnam Era (Part 1)

The following music videos were selected from a list of the most popular songs of the Vietnam: The “Rock ‘n Roll” War (1965 – 1971).

Veterans heard many of these songs played daily over the Armed Forces Vietnam Network (AFVN) Radio.

“This 24 hour radio station was created by the U.S. Armed Forces to entertain the American troops from the Delta to the DMZ (I am sure the VC also enjoyed listening it). The programming included all types of music from rock & roll, country, jazz & classical music.”

In honor of those who served, I chose that which I thought you would enjoy best this Memorial Day with credits to: Casper Platoon and AFVN RADIO.  I pray that I have honored you and served you well this day.

God bless you all and thank you.
