About My Going MIA These Past Few Weeks

About My Going MIA These Past Few Weeks

(stock photo)

Good morning all,

I thought that I would take a moment to address the silence these past weeks at Grumpy Opinions, PUMABydesign001’s Blog and across social media.

I would have published sooner but for a while, I had no access to my laptop and when I did have access, I was not in the state of mind to post anything but there, of course, is a reason for that.

Two and a half weeks ago, I headed to the doctor for treatment of what I thought was a recurrent stomach virus only to by day’s end find myself admitted to a hospital.

Definitely NOT a Stomach Virus —

After an 11-day hospital stay, a battery of tests, examinations and oh yes, a liquid diet of chicken broth, Jell-O, cranberry juice and yogurt, I was finally released two days ago.  Will receive findings of the last test, etc. by week’s end at which point the next chapter begins.

In the meantime, I am reading up on everything that I can while trying to heal my digestive system.

In between, I will do all that I can to continue bringing you the content and commentary from the many contributors and authors at Grumpy Opinions and PUMABydesign001’s Blog of which you have become accustomed.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and prayers on my behalf.

D.

P.s.:  Two requests, if I may be so bold:

  • Your prayers;
  • Anything that you have from a patient’s perspective relating to the digestive system, the healing process, recovery, etc.  Tks.
