Trump Missouri Rally: Supporters Sing ‘Amazing Grace’ after Woman Collapses

At one of the final MAGA rallies of the 2018 mid-term election season, a woman collapsed last evening and needed medical attention.  President Donald J. Trump stopped the Missouri rally for several minutes so that emergency responders could care for the Trump supporter.

During that time, the President asked for attendees to pray for the woman. What happened next , such joyful noise at a time of need as can only be heard at a Conservative rally. The crowd bowed its head in prayer. Shortly after thousands broke out in song.  The song, “Amazing Grace.”

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO. — President Trump on Monday paused his campaign rally in Missouri for roughly 10 minutes after an elderly woman in the crowd collapsed and required medical attention.

Trump was recounting his presidential victory of two years ago and chiding Hillary Clinton for calling some of the president’s supporters “deplorables” when something appeared to catch his eye in the crowd.

“Is there a doctor in the house, please? Doctor? Please. Thank you,” Trump said, pointing toward the crowd gathered on the floor of the Show Me Center.
