In a rare Saturday session, the Florida Senate voted on an amendment to ban the sale of AR-15s. The vote passed only for the same bureaucrats to reject the amendment 15 minutes later on the second vote. As it so happens, the first vote was a voice vote and as it also so happens, there is no voice record of the vote.

There is no record of the voice vote by Florida Senators that had approved the ban.
It happened real fast on Saturday.
Sen. Oscar Braynon, D-Miami Gardens, introduced an amendment that would ban for two years the sale of AR-15s.
And it passed on a voice vote.
Fifteen minutes letter, in what must feel like a cruel tease for gun control advocates, senators voted to reconsider.
And then they voted 21-17 to reject the ban[…]
See how they voted below.
For 15 minutes, the Florida Senate approved a ban on AR-15 sales. Here’s the vote that overturned it. https://t.co/NWq4zwL4lx

Are you thinking what I’m thinking and that is that the vote(s) were just for show. The first vote for voting on the ban of AR-15 sales will become the platform of Florida Senate Democrats seeking re-election.
Priceless, isn’t it? Even Florida’s Progressives know better than pushing through bogus legislation.
