Rand Paul on Obamacare Lite: There Is a ‘Separation Between’ Ryan, Trump

Breitbart News by Pam Key

Sunday on CBS’s “Face The Nation,” while discussing the Republicans the repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said there is a “separation between” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) and President Donald Trump.

Paul said, “I think there is a separation between the two. I have talked to the president, I think three times on Obamacare and I hear from him he is willing to negotiate. You know what I hear from Paul Ryan ‘it is a binary choice, young man.’ But what is a binary choice, his way or the highway?”

The Ryan/Trump separation part of the discussion begins at 03:05 of the video.

President Donald Trump must not trust Ryan who will try to push through RyanCare to bail out health insurance companies at the expense of Americans while at the same time throwing the President and his legacy under the bus.

Doing so would tie the President’s hands behind for the next four years while ensuring that Trump only gets one term in the White House.  A leopard does not change his spots.

In the meantime, Ryan and McConnell will tell Americans, “we gave you what you asked for” and stick us with RyanCare aka Obamacare 2.

No more smoke and mirrors.
