As most of us are aware, a group of electors are going rogue and trying to convince about two dozen Republicans to join their quest to deny President-elect, Donald J. Trump the White House.

Surprisingly, Ohio governor, John Kasich has directed the electors not to vote for him or anyone else but to cast their votes for Donald Trump on December 19. It should be noted that who betrayed his constituency by not voting for Trump.  He instead cast his vote by writing in John McCain’s name.

“I am not a candidate for president and ask that electors not vote for me when they gather later this month. Our country had an election and Donald Trump won. The country is divided and there are certainly raw emotions on both sides stemming from the election. But this approach, as well meaning as it is, will only serve to further divide our nation, when unity is what we need.”
