The day before Jeb Bush attempted to rebut Donald Trump’s claims that Bush was a “low-energy candidate” before the congregation at the West Hampton Beach synagogue, three of Jeb’s top fundraisers bolted for the door taking their checkbooks with them.

Politico By Alex Isenstadt and Marc Caputo

There are different versions of what transpired. The Florida-based fundraising consultants — Kris Money, Trey McCarley, and Debbie Aleksander — have said that they voluntarily quit the campaign and were still working with Bush’s super PAC, Right to Rise Super PAC. Others said the three, who worked under the same contract, were let go because they were no longer needed for the current phase of the campaign….

The departures came at a time of uncertainty for Bush. While he has had massive success raising money for his Super PAC, he is overseeing an official campaign that has many more staffers but far less money….

Personality conflicts?

Money problems aka fundraising issues?

Did they quit?

Low energy?

Newsday

Bush recited a long list of cities he’s visited in the past six days, boasted of a “physical therapy workout” Friday with former Navy SEALs and said he would be jetting to North Carolina after his speech.

“The low-energy candidate this week has only been six days, 16 hours a day, campaigning with joy in my heart,” the former Florida governor said….

Oh Jeb, who cares. Moving on.

Jeb Bush is busy racking up endorsements from the GOP establishment, i.e., the latest former majority leader, Eric Cantor. Yes, Eric Cantor the loser aka “boring” loser.

Washington Post

In Virginia, Cantor is co-chairing the Bush campaign along with Kay Coles James, a former state health secretary, and John Hager, a former lieutenant governor and chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia. Hager’s son Henry is married to Bush’s niece Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of George W. Bush….

While Cantor is as boring as the Florida noon sun is hot, he will play a major role in keeping Donald Trump off the Virginia ballot if Trump does not play ball with the GOP leadership.
