Backlash against Limbaugh backlash hits stock market

The Democrats seem to believe they have that they have finally managed to rid themselves of Rush Limbaugh following comment he made about  Sandra Fluke who showed up to testify in front of Congress about the prohibitive cost of birth control, available from Walmart for about $.30 a day.

I’m not a Limbaugh fan, and I believe the entire Fluke- fluke has been blown out of perspective as she was intended to be a Trojan right from the beginning. She was put in place for the publicity value. It worked

Writing for the Chicago Tribune, liberal columnist Clarence Page wrote hopefully Could this be the end of Limbaugh?

Obama publicly broke all ties to the unrepentant Rev. Wright and suffered not a bit with his base. The Republican presidential wanna-bes are not that lucky. Their attempts to distance themselves from Limbaugh’s vile language without losing his supporters come off like profiles in cowardice.

GOP front-runner Mitt Romney, approached by a reporter, said Limbaugh’s language was “not the language I would have used,” then tried to change the subject to the economy before scurrying off.

Page goes on to to compare Limbaugh to Reverend Jeremiah Wright and talk talk about how Limbaugh’s sponsors are deserting him en masse. What page does not realize, and like many others of is ilk are blind to, is that conservatives have constantly been called ugly, obscene and profane names by liberals over the last few years.  Turn about is fair play, regardless of how they feel about Limbaugh or his comments, they just see them as something liberals have had coming for a long time.

If Clarence Page has any doubt about this, you might want to check with his stockbroker.
