New Jersey students’ Trump shirts altered in high school yearbook

Censorship by any means is still censorship and a violation of said individual(s) rights.

Wyatt Dobrovich-Fago and Grant Berardo both juniors at Wall Township High School when they opened their school’s yearbook to learn that someone had photoshopped their photographs blacking out the lettering and logos on their pro-Trump shorts.

Another student, Montana Dobrovich-Fago (Wyatt’s sister) submitted a quote by President Donald Trump for the yearbook which somehow was excluded from the yearbook despite her timely submission.   The quote, “I like thinking big, if you’re going to be thinking anything, you might as well think big.”

As with the photo-shopping of the shirts, this is about censorship.  If anyone else had authored that quote, it would not be an issue.

Joseph Berardo Jr., father of one of the students is demanding (i) that the yearbooks are reissued and (ii) “a letter explaining why there was a First Amendment issue” otherwise he will pursue legal action.  “If they don’t reissue and do something that’s reasonable then we can deal with lawyers and it’ll become a bigger deal.”
