Mostly Agenda Driven Radical Left Wing Extremists
Such as AFL-CIO, the Center for American Progress, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, Color of Change, Common Cause, Demos, the Friends of the Earth, the League of Conservation Voters, Mother Jones (in a “non-editorial” capacity!), National People’s Action, the National Wildlife Federation, People for the American Way, the Piper Fund, Public Campaign, the Service Employees International Union, the United Auto Workers, and Voto Latino.
We can only assume the teachers union itself is a far left organization- and according to EAG News, it is
……much of the $27 million that AFT spent went to politics and non-education related causes. Not surprisingly, its political spending goes in only one direction – left. Here are a few examples of their largess:
- Economic Policy Institute – whose mission “is to inform and empower individuals to seek solutions that ensure broadly shared prosperity and opportunity.” If this were an honest statement, the word “opportunity” would have been followed by “as long as the solutions are in sync with the leftist union party line.”
- The American Prospect – an uber-lefty magazine.
- The Center for American Progress – a progressive think tank.
- Rainbow Push – Jesse Jackson’s shakedown organization.
- National Council of La Raza.
- American Labor Museum.
- Various and sundry labor committees.
- Progressive National Baptist Convention.
- Etc, etc, etc.
To show how one-sided its political spending is, according to the Center for Responsive politics, in 2011-2012, the AFT spent $768,194 on Democrat candidates for office and $0 on Republicans. This clearly shows a deep disdain for any of its dues payers who happen to be Republican. (While polling numbers on this issue vary, it is safe to say that somewhere between a third and a half of all teachers are politically to the right of center.)
In 27 forced union states, public school teachers must pay to play…………
You wouldn’t knowing trust members of the Klu Klux Klan, The American Nazi Party or Al Qaeda to educate your children. Why would you trust people so closely tied to organizations who believe we should have open borders and let illegal Aliens vote, organizations that are pro-Marxism/Communism or an organization run by a race baiter like Jesse Jackson-
If you think I’m exaggerating, take a look at what the Washington Free Beacon Has to say
A Conspiracy So Immense
Let’s pretend that in the spring of 2012 Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform, John Engler of the Business Roundtable, Tim Phillips of Americans for Prosperity, and Wayne LaPierre of the National Rifle Association began to organize an assembly of right-leaning groups.
Let’s pretend that in the months since there had been not one but two meetings where these luminaries joined with representatives of Christians United For Israel, the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the Tea Party Express, the Federation for American Immigration Reform, and the American Petroleum Institute to discuss strategy and promote a series of “structural reforms” that would make it easier for them to advance conservative goals in Congress.
Let’s pretend that by the time of the second meeting, which was held within sight of the White House, the coalition had grown to encompass some 36 different interest groups pledging millions of dollars.
How much press coverage would be devoted to this fictive cabal?
It is impossible to say. But is it not unreasonable to assume that our pretend meeting of the vast right-wing conspiracy would attract far more scrutiny than was devoted to the actual, real-life, believe-it-or-not inaugural meetings of the progressive “Democracy Initiative”? After all, no one seemed to know anything about those meetings, held in June and December 2012, until a writer for Mother Jones named Andy Kroll broke the story on Wednesday. As of this writing exactly two other people, a blogger for the Washington Monthlyand a blogger for The Ed Show, have picked up Kroll’s story.
A Conspiracy So Immense
Americans trust their teachers, they have to they wouldn’t let them educate their children. the American Ferderation of Teachers knows this. and they know how to exploit it to their advantage. There can be little doubt the American Federation of Teachers is pressuring our teachers, sometimes subtly to push the Unions Utopian Vision for a Marxist America
