Obama’s flying to Paris for the Fourth-at our expense

Air Force One Costs around $180, ooo per hour to operate, that over $2,000,000 just in flight costs

Obama plans on spending the 4th of July in Europe Fund raising, at first glance this may seem Un-American, but heck we’re talking about the first president to ever claime he was born in a foreign county, what could be more Un-American than that?  I’m betting he’ll find an excuse to give a speech or something so the taxpayers will be forced to pick up the millions of dollars this little trip is going to cost..

Obama Campaign Celebrates Independence With Fundraiser in Paris

Apparently tiring of US soil as a source of campaign dollars, the Obama campaign is headed overseas — with its celebrity friends in tow. The European Obama campaign starts next week in Paris on July 4 with a reception organized by various fundraising heavy-hitters. Independence Day fundraisers in Paris – now that’s a flag-waving campaign.

It’s actually a good thing he’ll be out of the country.  The 4th of July is a big day at the National Monuments.  On Memorial Day he shut down the Vietnam Memorial Wall for most of the day do he could give a ten minute speech to supporters and get a picture of his reflection on the Wall for the media..  Thousands of Veterans were denied access to the Wall so he could have a photo opt

At least there won’t be a recurrence of that on the the 4th here- It’s not a holiday in France–

    Actually this is a total lie. Obama will be in DC. Members of his campaign are going to raise money from expats in France, but he is not going. Even McCarthy ‘fessed up.

    I’ve heard both, this was based on reports that were published a few days ago– since then I’ve seen one report that says otherwise- Change of plans, I don’t know…

    After closing down Arlington and then the Vietnam Memorial to veterans on Memorial Day,I didn’t care if he went to France or not.

    BTW do you happen to know if they’re flying commercial or at taxpayer expense?
